September Favorites (Better late than never!)

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder: It feels very light and natural on the skin, and doesn’t leave a dry powdery look after applied. I use it to set my makeup after putting on foundation and concealer.

Maybelline Dream Matte Concealer (I think-I use it so much the name faded off!): I’m in the shade buff. I use this pretty much everyday, sometimes instead of foundation. It blends into my skin really well, and conceals blemishes and redness super well. It doesn’t cause breakouts, or dry skin, so I really reccommend this product.

MicaBella Cosmetics Shimer Powder in Bronze: This is my absolute favorite eyeshadow because it covers the eyelid completely in the color, it stays on forever and is very shimmery and pretty; perfect for fall. But the greatest thing is, it’s very versitile. By adding water it’s a cream eyeshadow, and without it’s a powder. You can add clear nail polish to make it a bronze nail polish, add clear mascara to make a bronze mascara..etc So I think that’s pretty cool. The only downside is, these things are pretty expensive. Fifteen dollars for one little thing.

Covergirl lashblastvolume mascara in black: I use this every single day, and its amazing. I know tons of people rave about it but it really is awesome. It makes your lashes super long and black, without getting the lashes clumped or all stuck together.

got2b rockin it dry shampoo: Okay, my hair gets really greasy and oily really fast if I don’t take perfect care of it. So, I use this dry shampoo on second day hair and it literally absorbs every ounce of oil in seconds. All you have to do is shake it, spray it into the outer roots of your hair, and massage it in. This is probably my actual September Favorite, because it works so great.

Burts Bees natural anti-blemish solutions daily cleanser: I use this every night before I go to bed, and its great for taking off all my makeup (leftovers that the wipes don’t remove), and leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean.

Olay moisturize rich cream cleanser: Which I use when I’m in the shower. It’s so creamy and light feeling on the skin, and after I’ve rinsed it off, my skin literally tingles because it feels so refreshed. I love this.

Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Moisturizing lotion: I put this all over my body after my shower, and it really, really helps my dry skin from all those years in gymnastics.

Marc Anthony oil of moracco argan oil shampoo: So we all know what moroccan oil does to your hair. Like I said before, my hair gets really greasy, but it’s also super lifeless and dull. But with this shampoo, it brings out shine, gets rid of alot of the ugly oils and keeps it nice and straight and silky (which keeps me very happy).

Herbal Essences Drama Clean Shampoo: I don’t use conditioner because it just ruins my hair and causes all sorts of grease and buildup, so instead I use two different shampoos. This one is very natural, so it leaves my hair looking very nice and refreshed (for a couple days at least)

Combat Boots: I got these from a local boutique for only 80$! They are literally the comfiest (is that how you spell it?) things on the planet and are super trendy at the moment for fall. They’re just simple black with lots of laces, but they’re also lined with fur so that they’ll keep my feet warm in the cold months. Seriously, these things are my babies; I’m obsessed.

Two pairs of jeans:

-The lighter washed pair with the brown belt are my most favorite pair, because I got them from a local boutique. They’re all the way from colombia, so they are especially made to feel as soft and stretchy as leggings, fit every body type, and sculpt the legs. For example, it actually gives me a butt and slims my hips! I got these on sale for 60$, and I wanted a few other pairs until I found out how expensive they were. Oh well, these were totally worth the money.

-These definitely aren’t as comfy as the other pair, but I found myself wearing them a ton this month! I just love how they look, plus they were only ten dollars from Stitches!

This really isn’t a great picture. Wow I need a better camera! I promise guys, they’ll be better next time! Anyway, I don’t know how many times I’ve raved about Jawbreaking, but here I am doing it again! They are seriously the comfiest shirts in the universe, so flowy and versatile and I feel like I’m wearing a cloud. If you can afford it, please check out their site and order a couple shirts! You won’t regret it, I promise! I’m probably gonna order a couple more when the new collection comes in on Oct 18th, so maybe you can too!

These fall trends are super cool and comfy, and I wore them alot over the month of september. Infact, I’m still wearing them!

-Cardigans

-Chunky oversized sweaters

-Skinny sweat pants (so perfect for lazing around, working out, or as I use them, for gym or dance classes)

-plaid

So lastly, some non beauty favorites! :)

So apparently, I’ve joined on the bath and bodyworks bandwagon like everyone else on the planet internet. I went and bought my first fall candels at the beginning of the month; and it was love at first burn. I burn one of them every single night, and they smell so so good. My favorite is pumpkin caramel latte, but I love both of them.

Favorite Show: Pretty Little Liars (Which I only recently started watching here-I’ve never seen it and needed to catch up to the current season)

Favorite Song: Live While We’re Young- One Direction (duh) and Marilyn Monroe- Nicki Manaj

Favorite Snack: Apples and peanut butter (yumyum)

Obsessions: My personal tumblr! (here) and personal twitter (@katia_hammond)

So that’s all! Hope this will help you guys for the next time you go shopping, or at least give you some ideas!

Much love! xoxoxox
